orann, while I'm away I want to keep in touch with you," Ian said, "in a special way. The way Jedi Knights can communicate through the Force."
The boy looked up at him.
"But you're going to another planet, master Kenobi." He said.
"Distance doesn't matter, Lorann. You are here on Palomintar Four and I will be on Lumeara which is located at the Inner Ring of the galaxy. What I'm going to practise with you is called Jedi telepathy. Telepathy means that we're going to communicate with what we're thinking, not speaking, but you need to feel that Force is going to help you to communicate with me this way."
"But how can I feel the Force, master Kenobi. You told me that is an unseen power that binds all that is around us."
"You're already feeling the Force's influence, Lorann, because in the nut wood you are part of the Living Force. That's why the Urams and Oltomyran accept your presence there."
"Yes, master Kenobi, I always can feel that the young Urams are waiting and looking for us and I also feel that master Oltomyran is keeping watch over the young Urams."
"What you have to learn, Lorann, to become conscious of the Force, become a part of its power, be one with its power. You can already feel the presence of the Urams in the nut wood, but there's much more that is part of the Living Force. Now, close your eyes and stretch out with your feelings. You will notice me, for I'm sitting next to you, but if you concentrate you will feel other life forms too: insects, worms, birds, maybe even another Quelan. Do what I'm telling you, Lorann, become very quiet, clear you mind, just feel and stretch out your feelings."
Ian had started to talk slower, using his Jedi voice to enthrall Lorann. He looked at him and felt that Lorann followed his soft spoken words. Ian stopped talking, kept watching Lorann and sensed the the boy easily became one with the Force.
"Master Kenobi, there is a spider making a web in the corner of the cave behind us," Lorann said in a whisper.
"That's right, Lorann, what more do you sense?" Ian said still using his Jedi voice.
"There's bird's nest with young birds high up in the mountain. We can't see it from below, for the nest is above the clouds."
"Excellent, Lorann. Now concentrate more, for the Force can tell you much more about the life forms here."
Lorann became silent and Ian sensed that the boy more and more surrendered himself to the Force. Ian waited just watching what Lorann should tell him.
"Master Kenobi?"
"Yes, Lorann."
"There's a flock of nagawa's feeding themselves at the foothill near the steep path where Chati practises her running up hill. Oh, and I feel the presence of farmer Jaborin. He nurtures the nagawa's."
Ian sensed that Lorann stretches further out to the houses in Cantamaga. The boy began to smile.
"I sense my mother Tronama, master Kenobi. She's in our garden. Oh, and my two sister are with her. Do you also feel their presence through the Force, master Kenobi?"
"I do, Lorann. You're doing fine, my friend. Now release yourself from your connection with the Force and realize that you're sitting in front of the cave next to me." Ian said.
Lorann looked at him and Ian saw the radiant look in the boy's eyes. Immediately he turned around and began to laugh.
"Look, master Kenobi, there is the spider which presence I felt through the Force." He said elated pointing at the little creature which was still busy with its web. "Will you teach me more how to use the Force. This feel really great. Do you think that Chati can also do this."
"You both can already do this, Lorann, for you're always telling me and master Antilles when our friends are coming to Tyr again. Don't you remember that you told me that Luke and Shaayla-Car were coming back to Tyr?"
"When I gave master Skywalker the drawing of his ship and when I saw miss Kenobi looking at master Skywalker with a loving look in her eyes. She was so beauty at that moment, master Kenobi, and I know that you love her too."
"That's right, Lorann, I really love Shaayla-Car, and I'm very happy that she is my sister."
Lorann looked suddenly more worried at him.
"What is it, Lorann?" Ian asked, sensing the disturbance in the Force.
"Master Kenobi, you can't go away now, for miss Kenobi and master Skywalker want to marry soon." Lorann said "You can't be away, you have to be at their wedding."
"They will wait until I have returned, Lorann, for also Luke's sister Leia is leaving with me and master Martan."
"Then my two best Jedi friends are gone, master Kenobi." Lorann said more worried.
"We'll be back, all of us. It's mission the Supreme Chancellor from the New Republic has done often. Before I became Leia's padawan learner, I have accompanied the Supreme Chancellor more than once. Master Antilles and master Martan have already been doing preparation on Lumeara, and now the leaders there have invited the Supreme Chancellor to talk to them personally to get better acquainted and maybe later even become allies and good friends.
"Lorann, I want you to practise for two days what I have let you experience. Seek a quiet place, become one with the Force and sense the presence of all living creatures around you. Small ones like the spider, but also other Quelans in Cantamaga. I will practise with you every day and I will help you to become a close ally with the Force. There is still time to also teach you the Jedi way to communicate, but first you need to become part of the Force and feel its influence at any moment of the day, even at night when you wake up for a moment."
"You're a great teacher, master Kenobi. I love to learn from you, and I feel a bit your padawan learner." Loran said with a big grin.
"Remember, Lorann, that what I'm teaching you I'm not allowed to. Luke doesn't want me to, and he is right. I'm not ready to be a real Jedi master to you, but I also don't want to leave you alone. I want you to tell me what you're doing, making drawings, or running fast,... and disappearing so nobody sense your presence."
"Who told you I can do that, master Kenobi?" Lorann asked amazed. "I haven't done that recently, because nothing is really bothering me, but I still can."
Before Ian's eyes Lorann disappeared, but Ian sensed the boy presence.
"Come back, Lorann. Stay here. I will tell what you're doing."
Lorann appeared, grinning.
"It was always great fun, master Kenobi. I often did when all the Quelans where on their way through the wild lands. It was boring, so I wanted to have fun as all of them started looking for me while I was just walking around among them. Is it also something you can do?"
Now it was Lorann's eyes which became wide.
"Master Kenobi, where are you?" He called, looking around.
'Stretch out with your feeling, Lorann. You're a strong Force user. Become one with the Living Force and you will sense where I am. Ian said, using Jedi telepathy to reach out to the boy.
"Hey, master Kenobi, I hear your voice, but I don't see you. I have to become one with the Living Force."
Lorann immediately did what he had heard and then he looked sideway and laugh.
"You're still sitting next to me, master Kenobi. This is really fun. If you should be away I still could sense where you are."
"Only at a short distance, Lorann. Like you did during the walk through the wild lands. It is a special use of the Force and called Altus sopor. A Force user and a Jedi Knight can use it to hide their presence for others, but they will sense the presence of other Force users or Jedi Knights. You're using this Force use involuntary, nobody has ever taught you. Consider this as a great gift from the Force, but don't use it any longer like you did in the past. You had fun with it, but it's use has a special meaning: to become unnoticed when among a crowd of species you done trust at first hand."
"Great, master Kenobi. I will remember this lesson." Lorann said.
Ian rose and stretch out his hand to the boy.
"You already did hear me, Lorann, didn't you when I use Altus sopor." He said.
Yes, I did, master Kenobi. I heard your voice in my mind. You told me what I should do and then I sensed your presence, although you were still one with the Force." Loran said while he grabbed Ian's hand and jumped to his feet.
"We're going back to Cantamaga now. The oncoming days I'm going to talk to you more often without you hear me talking to you. What I'm saying you will hear in your mind. Pay attention to it, for I might ask you to do something."
"And later on I will learn to answer you that way, right, master Kenobi." Lorann conclude.
Ian nodded, while he gently pushed the boy to the steep path that led to the foothills and the plains.

Leia looked at her husband.
"You're agreeing with what Luke said? You really want me to join Mon Mothma on that mission?" She asked.
"Yes, I do, sweetheart. I don't like it, but you're Mon Mothma's special advisor. If we would have been at Irithim you wouldn't have had any doubts, for you would have seen it as your duty. Luke is right. Accompanying Mon is your duty. She more or less depends on your presence, if she going on a diplomatic mission, for you're not only her advisor with a lifetime experience as a diplomat, but you're also a Jedi Knight."
"That's what's worrying me, Han. Wedge has told us that the Lumearanian leaders have already issued threats that if a Jedi Knight comes to Lumeara, they will hold him accountable for what took place during the Clone War. In which way would they held the Jedi Knights accountable."
"You're going to support Mon Mothma, darling. You're not going to fight a war to win, and neither do Yarmod and Ian. Mon Mothma want to convince those leaders to become another ally in the New Republic, and send a representative to take a seat in the Senate."
"Why hasn't the government on Coruscant rejected their request to give them support? They have been loyal to the Empire while Palpatine reigned." Leia asked.
"I'm sure that Mon Mothma will get an good answer to that question, sweetheart. Stop bothering, Leia. I'm sure that you and the other two Jedi will be back on Palomintar Four in no time." Han said and kissed her. "Chewie and I will bring you to Dalmaran to hear what Mon Mothma expects of this mission."
"I wish that you and Chewie would accompanying us to Lumeara?" Leia mused.
"What would be the use of that? The Falcon is not directly configured to serve as a space ship for diplomatic mission. I understand that the Tychorion will bring her to Lumeara. General Madine will probably get the order to stay in orbit around the system."
Leia nodded.
"That's a reassuring point, for I truly have a bad feeling about this mission. Han, but in case anything would go wrong, we could contact Crix Madine and ask for support of a contingent of his ground force and Gold Squadron. " Leia said, sighing. "And there's also Luke's postponed wedding plan.
"Leia, after you read Mon Mothma's request to send Yarmod and Ian, instead of Yarmod and Wedge, you weren't considering the consequences for your brother's wedding plan. You simply told me that he and Shaayla-Car should postpone their wedding while Ian would be away, and now you're worrying because Luke has told you that you'd better join Mon Mothma's mission to give those two Jedi Knights your support as Jedi master. One way or the other, Leia, Luke and Shaayla-Car have not other choice if they want you and Ian be present at their wedding. You have heard what Luke said, that he and Shsayla-Car already were aware of the consequences after you told them here on Myr.
Leia, we'd better concentrate to schedule our time here on Myr and Tyr, for Yarnick and I have to bring the second group back to Tyr, and later both ships have to bring the third group to Myr. Do you know if Shaayla-Car will use her Force skill of Battle Meditation again to encourage that third group?"
"I think she and Luke will absolutely do that. Shaayla-Car probably feels the disappointment the third group will also feel, like has been the case with the other groups, but we will ask them, for Luke and Shaayla-Car will come with all of us to Tyr to support Filann and Cemall to gather the first harvest of fallen nuts as has been decided by the Harvest Council." Leia said. "I hope that those birds, the Urams, won't attack Cornell's eldest son. If that will happen than Cornell will certainly call all his men to wipe them out."
"Cornell no longer is the harvest men's leader, Leia. He too has to join his son gathering that first harvest in the old way. Master Manall will surely see to that. I don't understand why the harvest men have ever decided that Cornell should be their leader. He's a nice fellow, but to fast ill-tempered, not really a good leader. I understand that master Manall has made his son a deputy leader now together with two others, so Cornell has to share his leadership.
Do you know what Luke and Shaayla-Car will do, after they have given their support to Cornell's sons on Tyr?" Han asked.
Leia shook her head and smiled.
"I don't know, Han, and I won't ask them, but I expect that they will go back to Palomintar Six."
"If they will leave before the third group goes to Myr, maybe it will be a good idea to warn them if Yarnick and I will bring the group to Myr again. With the second group the Astræga came back late, remember."
"Shaayla-Car, nor Luke will forget their obligations, Han. They will be back in time, but I will remind them before they will leave Tyr."
"Then I assume, that as soon as the third group is doing their share I will bring you, Yarmod and Ian to Dalmaran. After Mon Mothma's mission has left, I will go back, for there still a lot to do here, and I need to show Toallin and Mugin that the rest of us will still support them and keep the promise we've made. I'm not a Jedi Knight, but I have my honor. Once I have given my word, I will stick to it." Han said.
Leia laughed.
"That's why I love you, my scoundrel. Han, I will miss you, and I will insist that Mon Mothma will put some pressure on the consultations with the Lumearanian leaders. I want to get back to you as soon as possible, and so will Yarmod and Ian, for once we're back my brother and Shaayla-Car will finally schedule their wedding."

Luke looked at Liane.
"What impression do you have Lorann, Shaayla-Car?" He asked.
Liane looked thoughtfully.
"Good question, Luke. He definitely is a Force-user, that's beyond dispute, and ever since he knows, I sense he feels happy that his talents are acknowledge. At least by my brother, Wedge, us, and by master Kamalin and master Manall.
He probably has been influenced by the Force ... I guess, I may say, since he was born, for we have heard that already at a young age he was making use of the Force while running in and around Cantamaga, and Myr. He also seems to have a natural gift to use Altus sopor, which he has used during their evacuation through the wild lands. He has used the possibility to disappear to amuse himself, because the long walk to the western harbor must have been boring some times."
Luke nodded.
"Go on," He said encouraging her.
"He didn't or even doesn't get along with his family pretty well, because of his Force skills. His father finally decided that, while on Cantamaga, Lorann should stay at his grandfathers's, for master Manall was the only one who kept him in check, or rather, who understood him. Living with his grandfather who he adores, has had a good influence, for he did runaway no longer and he didn't use his Force influence to tease.
Since growing up with Manall, he has become calmer, but that could also be the influence of Kamalin, his master. We know that Kamalin is also a Force user. It is more than logical to assume that Kamalin sensed and encouraged the influence of the Force on Lorann, because we know that Kamalin discovered Lorann's drawing talent.
Lorann's way to make drawings of what he hears or sees, also clearly bear the mark of Force influence. Recently he is developing this talent very fast, for he not only listens and hears what other tell him, he also sees more, deeper, more behind the stories which show him details he never hasn't seen himself. He sees beyond reality and can draw the past and make what once was visible again. "
"Splendid analysis, Shaayla-Car. Yes, Lorann is a Force seer. He is an perceptive observer and includes in his drawings the details that only he can see through the Force. It's intuitive what he does, and needs training to make him more consciously aware how he can use the Force this way. It's a talent that shouldn't be overlooked, for not many Force-user develop such a keen and sharp inward eyesight."
"He absolutely is using the Force in a different way, than Chati Fonaldris." Liane remarked.
Luke nodded.
"No doubt about that. That's why I can't ask Wedge to handle them both when I will ask him to take Chati to Myr together with the third group. Wedge will be the only Jedi Knight while Leia and the other two and we will be away. "
"Wedge is aware of the promise the Jedi Knights have made to the Quelans, Luke?"
"Sure, but he mostly has supported me while we were handling Trevor's occupation on Myr. He has done much work on the mountain ridge, helping the harvest men with the water project."
"Do you think that the harvest men won't accept his authority as a Jedi Knight?" Liane asked surprised.
"Except for Manall, the harvest men aren't believing in the Force. Cornell is a good example of a harvest man who has many doubts about the value of the Force. Filann told me that the harvest men can do the same what the Jedi Knights can do. In other words they are proud and convinced of their place among the Quelan community. "
"So, while we all are away, the harvest men might undermine Wedge's authority as a Jedi Knight. Maybe they even might tell Toallin that shouldn't allow Chati to become a Jedi Knight."
Luke sighed.
"It might, Shaayla-Car, but I have an idea to avoid that Wedge's authority will be undermined while we're away. I don't know how long Leia, Yarmod and Tama-Hin will be away, and I also don't know where we can find proof of our births." Luke said and looked at her.
Liane looked at him and started to smile.
"I remember, Luke, that I have suggested that you would take Lorann as your padawan learner, until my brother will be ready to take over."
"I knew you would see through me, naughty pixie, but I don't want to take Lorann as my padawan learner, but I want him to join us while we are visiting some different place in the galaxy, in search for our birth certificates. i want Loran to take the drawing pad with him and make drawings of any impression of his journey with us."
"Luke," Liane said elated, "He will love it. If you tell this it will be the fulfillment of one of his dreams, I guess."
"It sure will, but it means that while we are traveling with the Astræga to what ever corner of the galaxy, we will have a tweive-year old Quelan Force user around us. We could prepare one of the guest quarters for him, where he can make his drawing and have a place to rest, but it will also have influence on what we are doing."
Liane chuckled teasingly.
"It sure will have, master Skywalker, but as we use the panoramic meditation room to pass our nights, it might that that twelve-year old Quelan Force users might disturb us."
"He might wake up during those sleeping hours and wonders where we are," Luke said. "I certainly don't want him to start roaming the ship, looking for us."
"What I know from my brother, Luke, is that Lorann is aware of the Living Force while he's in the nut woods, feeding those Urams. You have taught me to become aware of any life form, while we were on Endor. Can't you make Lorann aware of our presence in the Astræga without he starts looking for us, as if he feels our presence through the Force is reassuring enough to make him realize he isn't alone, for we're still on board."
"What you're suggesting, Shaayla-Car, means that I have to develop his Force awareness of all life forms." Luke said and was silent for a moment, before he hesitatingly continued "I have done that with Chati at the clearing behind the campsite and she was aware of the Cornell and some other harvest men inn the community tree house."
"Luke, sensing the Living Force is one of the first Force awareness feelings for a Force user, you once told me. It should be difficult to make Lorann more aware of the reality around him using his Force skills. You should do that and give that boy the time of his life while traveling with us. You can practise with him while we're on Tyr when we are supporting his older brothers while gathering nuts."
Luke nodded.
"We have to talk with Cornell and master Manall, Shaayla-Car, about this plan, for we certainly need Cornell's approval that Lorann may join us on our journey. Master Manall will agree, for he knows his grandson's talent, but first I will talk and practise with Lorann while we're on Tyr.
Liane grinned.
"If Cornell will accept our plan, it also might support Wedge while being the remaining Jedi Knight here," She said.
Luke took her in his arms and kissed her.
"Your immense insight into situations, without explicitly mentioning all the possibilities, is the reason why I love you so much, my dearest." He said and kissed her again.

'Lorann, what are you doing at the moment?'
Lorann heard Ian's question in his mind.
"I'm making a special drawing of the vineyard, master Kenobi, to please Chati. I want her to see the vineyard building she once knew it. I will add colors to it." Lorann said on a whispering tone, so no one should hear him talking.
'I will be waiting for you a the foot of the steep hill, Lorann.'
Again Lorann heard Ian's voice.
"I will tell master Kamalin I need to do some running. He has already told me that I shouldn't be drawing too long." Lorann answered and began to clear his desk. He took his coat and knocked on the door of Kamalin's office. Lorann opened the door ajar
"Master Kamalin, I going to do some running as you said I should do." He said.
Kamalin looked up and nodded.
"You should do that more often, Lorann. You have been busy these last weeks almost every day for long hours. A young boy like you should exercise. Where are you going?"
"To the steep path uphill, master Kamalin. It's always great to run uphill. Last time I ran uphill I counted how fast I could run. I was on the plateau halfway when I had counted to twenty. This time I want to do it quicker."
"Be careful, boy. There's no need to run faster again."
"I do it just for fun, master Kamalin."
"Enjoy yourself, Lorann." Kamalin said and returned to his work.
Lorann left the administration building and left Cantamaga running as fast as he could. He reached the foot of the steep hill where Ian was waiting for him. Lorann looked at the young Jedi Knight.
"I heard your voice in my mind, master Kenobi. It's pity that I can't answer you as the Jedi do? But I have been practising what you taught me at the cave. This morning I become one with the Living Force and when I focussed of people in the building I sensed governor Toallin in his office and master Kamaalin, but that was easy for he has his office next door to my room. Then I sensed Chati and master Antilles. They were outside Cantamaga on the plains where Chati was lifting stones. Oh, and last night, when I woke up in my room above the school I sensed you. You weren't asleep. I wanted to wish you good night, but I don't know how to communicate with you, like you do, master Kenobi."
Ian put his hand on the young Quelan's shoulder.
"We're going uphill to the plateau, Lorann." He said.
"Running, master Kenobi?" The boy asked.
Ian smiled and nodded. Lorann immediately ran off and Ian followed him. Together they reached the plateau which looked out on Cantamaga. Ian took Lorann's arm and walked over with him to the other side of the hill. Lorann looked up at him in wonder.
"We'd better stay out of sight, won't we, master Kenobi?" Lorann said and looked at the nut forest that spread in a wide circle below the plateau as far as he could see.
"There must be a lot of Urams living in those forest, don't you think, master Kenobi?" He remarked. "Do you think, that there are different groups which live separate from each other? I mean, like the harvest men lived apart from the Quelans in Ribana, before every one came here."
Ian looked at Lorann.
"What do you know about how the harvest men lived on Myr, Lorann, I've heard that you were very young when you came to Cantamaga."
Lorann shrugged his shoulder.
"I know they lived separate, master Kenobi. At Cantamaga it was different as all families were living among each other. That's much better, for the harvest men are also Quelans. What are you going to practise with me today?"
"Sit down, cross-legged, Lorann. Look in the direction of the nut forest, then close your eyes and become on with the Force, become a part of the Living Force. I will join you." Ian said and sat cross-legged in meditation stance.
Lorann did the same and after having cast a look on the nut tree down below he closed his eyes. He felt how the Force began to surround him, so he became part of the Force's power. He enjoyed the feeling and reached out with his feelings to sense even the tiniest life form around him. He felt a swarm of flies which were flying between the bushes which grew along the hillside. There were again spiders and some worms which were finding a path through the soil looking for food particles. He stretched out with his feeling and felt Ian sitting next to him. Next he focussed on the nut wood and felt some Urams which were feeding with nuts among the canopies. His feeling became more intense has he felt the presence of a large Uram which was sleeping on a branch of one of the biggest nut trees.
'Master Oltomyran, greetings.' He whispered and saw that the huge Urams moved his feathered head, looking as if he was hearing his name.
'Awesome, Lorann,' he heard Ian say to him. 'master Oltomyran was aware of your presence in the Living Force.'
'Did he really sensed that I greeted him, master Kenobi. Lorann answered Ian's Jedi telepathy.
Completely stunned he opened his eyes, while loosing his connection with the Force, and looked at Ian.
"Did you hear me too, master Kenobi?" He asked.
"I sensed your presence, Lorann, and I did hear your question about master Oltomyran." Ian said, looking at his young student with a big smile.
'You're as fast a learner of Jedi telepathy as Chati Fonaldris, Lorann. You Quelans are really talented. Ian said and continued 'Answer me through the Force, Lorann, and communicate with me as the Jedi do.'
'When did you teach this to Chati, master Kenobi. Master Antilles is teaching how you use the Force. He is her master.'
'Master Yarmod and I practise with Chati while we were trying to walk through the dried riverbed. We couldn't talk aloud, for we had had an encounter with guarding droids eavesdropping on us. Chati could as easily answer us as you do.' Ian said.
'And you can also talk with the other Jedi masters this way, and with miss Kenobi. Oh, I would love to talk to her too this way and tell her she a beautiful lady.'
'You'd better not do that, Lorann. Remember what I told you. What I'm doing, what I'm teaching you, doesn't have the approval of master Skywalker.' Ian warned.
'Is master Skywalker the most important Jedi Knight, master Kenobi.'
'After the Civil War ended master Skywalker was the only Jedi Knight in this galaxy, Lorann. All the other Jedi Knights were dead, betrayed by the Empire, and also master Skywalker's Jedi masters had become one with the Force.'
'Master Skywalker has learned from those masters to become a Jedi Knight, hasn't he.'
'Yes, Lorann, for master Skywalker wanted to become a Jedi Knight, because also his father had been one. He wanted his father to be proud of him.'
For a while Lorann was silent.
"Master Kenobi," He said in the normal way, "Grandpa, once had two Jedi friends, your father master Obi-Wan, but the other friend was called Anakin Skywalker. Was he master Skywalker's brother?"
"His father, Lorann." Ian answered.
"So, grandpa not only has known your father, master Kenobi, but also master Skywalker's. Did his father teach master Skywalker how he had to become a Jedi Knight, like him." Lorann asked.
Ian shook his head.
"No, my father has been master Skywalker's master and later master Skywalker met master Yoda, the grand master of the former Jedi Council. He taught master Skywalker everything he needed to know to become a Jedi Knight."
"And now master Skywalker is sharing what he has learned with the other Jedi Knights? Has he been your Jedi master, master Kenobi?"
"He has, Lorann, and he is a very good master. He is strict, but also patient and friendly. I couldn't have had a better master. I hope one day that I will be as good a Jedi master as he is."
"And then you will take me as your padawan, won't you, master Kenobi?"
"I will, Lorann, but I have to ask your father if you will agree. Your father has to accept that you will be a Jedi Knight, like master Skywalker, master Antilles, and master Skywalker's sister Leia. She has also been my Jedi master. Her teaching were different, but as good as what master Skywalker has taught me."
"Why did you have two Jedi masters, master Kenobi. Is that normal? Will you be my Jedi master, but will you tell me that I also have to learn from another Jedi master. In that case I want miss Kenobi, your sister, to be my Jedi master, for she knows exactly the same as you."
Ian began to laugh.
"I don't think, Lorann, that you can compare me and my sister that way. Shaayla-Car's Jedi path has been completely different from mine, but that's a story you will hear another time.
"We have done a good practise. I'm very proud of you, and I think that when we will join Chati and master Antilles in the nut wood that master Oltomyran will come and see you."
Lorann beamed.
"It felt really great to talk to you through the Force, master Kenobi. Tonight when I'm in my room in the school building I will wish you good night. Will you answer me through the Force?"
"Rest assured that I will wish you good night as well, Lorann," Ian said and stood up.
Lorann looked at the nut wood and waved.
"Good night, master Oltomyran, pleasant dreams. Tomorrow I will come to the nut wood again to feed my young friends."
Lorann's a clear voice sounded over the canopies of the nut trees. Ian took the boy's arm and led him back to descend the steep path to get back to Cantamaga. He enjoyed the progress of the boy, but he was aware that what he was doing. certainly hadn't the approval of the other Jedi.

Bran came running up the cargo ramp of the Grannd Traveler.
"Yarnick, where are you?" He yelled.
"Over here, in my quarter, Bran. What's the matter?" Yarnick asked as he popped up from the aft of the ship.
"You'll get your opportunity to see Jarosho and buy a wedding present for Luke and our adopted sister Shaayla-Car, and nobody will notice what we're doing. Call the other, we need to talk together. Man, this is a once in a life time opportunity. Conor, Kieran, where are you. Yarnick, where are Ronan and Brion."
"We're coming," sounded several voices and within moments the six brothers sat down in the control room of their ship.
They all looked at Bran who sat with an elated face looking at them.
"What do you want to tell us, Bran."
"Listen guys, this is incredible. Due to lack of storage in our ship we have stored what we had to leave at a storage house at De'olon space port. We intended to pick it up after we had talked to Toallin and Mugin if they had some special wishes. Well, I had a short conversation with master Woldrin and I told him about that stuff on Dalmaran. He handed me a short list of extra things the Quelans need and asked me if we would be willing to buy that on Palomintar Six, after we had pick up the rest of that first load."
"He gave you a list with extras that we have to buy on Palomintar Six. That's great, Bran. Yarnick that will give you the opportunity to see Jarosho and ask him to make a wedding present for Luke and Shaayla-Car," Kieran yelled.
"Keep your voice down, Kieran. They can hear what your yelling in the nut woods on Tyr." Conor said.
Yarnick nodded, but didn't seem to agree immediately.
"We can go to Palomintar Six as master Woldrin request, but to get to Dalmaran for the rest of the first load, isn't a real option, Bran. Why should we do that?"
"Because we can offer Leia, and Yarmod and Tama-Hin to bring them to Irithim, in stead of Han and Chewie who are still busy with demolishing the harvester community building."
"Why are those three Jedi Knights going to Irithim?" Ronan asked.
"To support the Supreme Chancellor on a mission to a system at the Inner Ring. I don't know which."
"Won't Han Solo bring his wife and those two Jedi himself."
"Listen, we can argue that it's inefficient if we are going to Dalmaran space port and he will bring Leia and the other Jedi there too. Han can't pick up our load, for it's security sealed and only we can get it. We should talk to Han and Leia and convince Han that it is better if we will carry out the transport of the three Jedi to Irithim. On our way back to Palomintar Four we can drop off at Ktafunda space port. Buy the things of the list Woldrin gave which I think he has got from Mugin and see Jarosho as we wanted to do when we came back from Irithim with the rest of the credits and our master load. And there's more, for we don't have to be secretive, for it seems that Luke and Shaayla-Car also will leave again."
"To Palomintar Six, perhaps?" Brion asked.
Bran shook his head.
"No, they have to search if somewhere someone has registered their birth and have it documented. The governors seem to need those birth certificate to officiate their wedding." Bran said. "They will first join all of us to Tyr and stay there until the third group comes to Myr. As soon as the third group has arrived here and is doing their chores, we could leave with the three Jedi. Luke and Shaayla will probably leave soon afterwards."
"Any idea how long they will be away?" Yarnick asked.
Bran shook his head
"But finding their birth certificates won't be easy. It is said, that Luke and Leia are born at the end of the Clone Wars. Their mother has died after their births, but that was kept secret, for there were some people who knew who was their father. Shaayla-Car's birth is some six years later during the first days of the reign of Palpatine. In any case, Luke and Shaayla-Car will be busy for a while trying to figure out who might have witnessed their birth. If we go to Irithim Han and Chewie together with Wedge Antilles could defend the original promises Han, Leia and Luke have made to the governors. Han Solo is a smuggler and a gambler, but also a men of honor and the Wookiee is known for his strict loyalty to Han and the original promise."
"When will those three Jedi Knight return from that mission with the Supreme Chancellor?" Yarnick asked.
"Unknown, but as long as neither Leia, nor Ian will be back, Luke and Liane won't have their wedding celebrate. That's also a great opportunity for the governors to encourage their fellow Quelans to restore the last bits of Ribana's ruins."
"I will talk with Han and Leia," Yarnick said. "It's indeed inefficient if both freighters will leave with the same destation. What's more if also Luke and Shaayla-Car will leave Myr it might give the impression to the Quelans that we're turning our back on them. OK. We make a quick trip to Dalmaran with the three Jedi. We pick up the last part of the first load. Leave Dalmaran and head for Palomintar Six where we will seek out Jarosho and explain to him what we want and for whom. I'm sure that he remembers Luke and Shaayla-Car. We buys the stuff of master Woldrin's list and head back to Palomintar Four. We leave Jarosho our connection code to consult us, or will let us know that our wedding present is ready. If we hear from him we will do a quick trip to Palomintar Six and be back here in one day. In the meantime I hope that all the Jedi have returned to Myr, including Luke and Shaayla-Car. One question, Bran. who told you all this?"
"Yarmod and Nori told me about the mission, for Nori asked me if I could take over Yarmod's work, and I spoke to Luke who looking for Manall. He was glad that we are back, but he seemed worried that almost all of the Jedi had to leave Myr for a while. I asked if he also was leave and then he told me about those birth certificate. I offered him to ensure some fabricated copies, but he refused. He wanted to search for the real ones. Well, Yarnick, if he won't succeed we can remind him of what I said. We still have friends who will do a job for us, don't think."
"I'd better agree with Luke. Those birth certificates have to be the original ones, Bran. Fabricated or fake ones won't do the job." Yarnick.
